- SASANE formed a group of 70 former women victims of human trafficking in persons, who were migrated from all districts of Nepal, with aim at providing them paralegal training.
- They were divided into 25 subgroups and these subgroups are working in 25 police stations throughout Kathmandu Valley and helping people coming to the stations for immediate relief.
- They have gained paralegal certificates (Abhikartako Pramanpatra) from Kathmandu District Court in open competition.
- They have carried out research on practices in the Nepali societies that subordinates and inflicts violence on women in the name of cultures, traditions and religions for Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare in order to provide reports with recommendation including a draft bill on behalf of the Ministry to be presented in Legislature-Parliament.
- They have carried out survey on 100 elected Members of Constituent Assembly in order to prepare recommendation to Constituent Assembly on practices of violence against women in their constituencies.
- They have been given 15 days feature writing training and are preparing news features for leading National Daily in Nepali vernacular Annapurna Daily on domestic violence and human trafficking based on accounts of victims who come to police stations.
